WORSE: Rubber Burner: LP

Dark and dirgy. Grinding sludge that recalls many—Cows meet Unsane meet Flipper?—but manages to stand on its own tootsies. There’s a complexity to the songs’ structures and delivery, and they occasionally pick up the pace to maybe a solid gallop, but for the most part they keep things slow, caustic, and gloriously bleak. –Jimmy Alvarado (Deranged)
