Wire Lines are comfortable with paradox: they are heavy without being formulaic, melodic without being pop, heartfelt without being emo. Kevin Grant is a singer in the best, truest sense of the word, exhibiting range and emotion in his delivery in unexpected ways throughout both sides of this LP, which reminds me of the old Boston band Miltown in that it’s completely ferocious and unimpeachably gripping. –Michael T.
