This one kind of caught me off guard. I’m not exactly sure what I was expecting, but I certainly wasn’t expecting to start frazzling the same synapses that catch fire when I hear Lenguas Largas, yet here we are. Riff rock, ethereal pop, stutter-punk, and psychedelic weirdness all crushed up together with a mortar and pestle to bust out the biggest rail of “fuck tomorrow” that you’ve ever hoovered up. This is the soundtrack to those epic tales of adventure you’ll one day be dying to brag about to your teenage kids—but if you do, you know they’ll have the upper hand.
