WILDERNESS, THE: III: LP

Given that my grasp of Slovakian is, uh, nonexistent, I’m gonna have to just nod and smile through the bulk of what internet translation machines are telling me about these lyrics, because it’s making little sense. Musically, it’s some punchy post-punk stuff, with a pretty high-pitched, nasally vocalist that sounds eerily like the dude from Neon Piss. The whole thing, aesthetically and musically, reminds me quite a bit of that band, actually. So, yeah. If you’re looking for a Slovakian Neon Piss who may be (but probably isn’t) singing about how “I don’t play for little horny pizzas in department stores for burgers and sneakers,” then go for a run with the Wilderness. –Keith Rosson (Heavy Metal Vomit Party)
