Another dose of wildness from this bunch. At their core, these guys are firmly rooted in a fuzzy, garage punk-laden niche with tons of swagger. What sets ’em apart is that they often stop on a dime mid-song and veer off in a markedly different direction—sometimes Sabbath-drenched prog-sludge, sometimes a full-on eight-minute psychedelic jam meltdown, and then sometimes bouncing right back onto some zippy garage punk tangent—all of which they do authentically enough to keep the listener’s interest piqued, as well as keeping them on their toes. –Jimmy Alvarado (Wild Wings, wildwings.bandcamp.com)
