A friend of mine likened Wicked Bears to an amalgam of Blink-182 and Sum 41. I told him he was talking total tosh, as to me it was way more in line with The Copyrights and Nerf Herder, two bands I hold in much higher esteem than the other two. As testament to how good Wicked Bears is, I’ve been waking up with its songs in my head all this week, with the lyric, “I’m going to make myself at home where my ear canal meets my nose” from “Mega Powers” being my go-to line.
