Not a band I’ve ever really taken much notice; considering its lack of physical output, I’m not surprised that Western Addiction has never significantly registered on my radar. That, however, is my loss as this is a cracking record. The band’s sound is structured around a hardcore spine but there are also elements of rock, metal, and even Americana weaved into Tremulous. Throw in a couple of passages that remind me separately of All and Crusades and it makes for one hell of a combination.
