Debut album from a Washington D.C.-based quintet. The bio mentions that this is for fans of Kid Dynamite, Motörhead, and Black Flag. That does give a fair idea of what you get with Walk The Plank. It’s aggressive and brash but doesn’t eschew melody, which subsequently knocks off some of the rougher qualities. Nothing earth shattering but, nonetheless, a decent first album. –Rich Cocksedge (Say-10, [email protected], say-10.com)
