This, for those keeping track, is the first legit vinyl pressing (was previously released on CD as A Taste of Honey in 1994) of a collection of demos recorded by one of Canada’s earliest, most notorious, and best punk outfits. The sound quality on this is impeccable, as are the performances. Greg’s remastering makes things pop in such a way that one can’t help but wonder how these were deemed “demos” and not put out as an official release soon after they recorded them in 1977. The liner notes and plethora of photos make something that’s already a must-have all the more so. Kudos to the Artifix crew for yet another crucial release.
