This here is a five-song EP that has that very slick Fat Wreck Chords—or better yet, Pink And Black Records—sound. Something along the lines of The Fight or a less good Tilt is the vibe I am getting here. The label compares them to Joan Jett and Ramones, which is not doing anyone any favors. Pretty solid backing vocals, but the songs aren’t particularly memorable. The songs “Mantis” and “Pizza Slice” stand out with an almost thrashy HC punk feel, but both are flawed by unnecessary breakdowns.
