I make no claims as to what their aims might be as a band, but I do know that they have the “fun-ass three-chord basement punk” thing down pat. Reminds me so much of Portland bands like the Flip-Tops, Triggers, and Thought Patterns—joyous, snotty, buoyant, catchy as all hell. A ten-song demo with a Buzzcocks cover and a pair of vocalists that trade off terrifically. I really miss seeing shows like this; honestly, I just don’t see a lot of bands playing this stuff anymore, which is too bad, because it feels ageless to me. –Keith Rosson (Self-released)
