Stuff like this is so fun and, I’d argue, historically important. This Italian band’s first official release was a 7” put out in 1983, while the songs here—via their original demo tape—came out in small, hard-to-find batches in 1981. No Plan’s given them a fantastic, careful reissue treatment here. Beautiful cover and layout, a foldout insert with tons of info, and the demo itself is full of some terrifically ugly early ’80s Italian hardcore. Snarling, reverb-y vocals, a guitar that sounds like a pencil sharpener on its last legs, and those drums that relentlessly boom-bap their way towards thud-punk oblivion. –Keith Rosson (No Plan)
