Trust is the long-running German-language zine covering everything hardcore punk. Think of them like the European equivalent of MRR (RIP), or this zine you’re holding in your hands right now. Issue 1 came out back in 1986, and they are still going strong today. It’s times like this that I lament being born a dumb monolingual American, as Trust looks like the kind of zine I’d happily read every issue. This issue featured interviews with Ronja from Plastic Bomb fanzine, Turkish garage punks Reptilians From Andromeda, Optimal Records, Kali Masi, Nobelschrott, and dozens of book, zine, and record reviews, including reviews of two issues of Razorcake! The simple black and white layout is clean and easy to read, with enough photos that it never feels like staring at walls of text. If you’re fluent in German, this zine is a must-read and subscribe. –Paul J. Comeau (Trust, Postfach 11 07 62, 28087 Bremen, Germany)
