I was sent two issues of this German rock magazine. It’s a way impressive-looking, black and white zine with articles, reviews, and pictures. I see they reviewed a recent favorite album of mine, the United Mutation collection Dark Self Image. I’m ashamed to say, one of my great failures in life was I took German in college, was misinformed by my counselor how many credits I needed to graduate, consequently fell behind, and never caught up. I’m not kidding; it was a genuine hassle in my life. I’m still bitter about it. It delayed my graduation and everything. I had to take correspondence classes. Sadly, my German has not gotten any better since then. I wish I had a zine like this at the time. Maybe it would have made learning fun. I guess you can see where this is going. I can’t read much of this. But it looks awesome and—if you’re learning German or thinking about taking German—seek this out. Moreover, I’d just recommend taking Spanish. German is a tough language. –Billups Allen (Trust, Postfach 11 07 62, 28087 Bremen, Germany)
