Absolutely feral, living room trash-punk that can switch modes, but always maintains its untethered, wide-eyed intensity. This is the kind of lawless, fun, catchy, shambolic punk that takes me back to a time when house shows were the name of the game, and anyone and everyone I knew was always down to move their couches into the backyard and let a hoard of drunk strangers infiltrate their abode. And for the record, that’s about as high a compliment as I can give. The one-two punch of “Mandate” into “Detonate” is a goddamn work of art that needs to be heard!
