A beast of a 7” with Tokyo Lungs contributing eight tracks and Feral State offering up five of in reply. Both bands excel at blistering punk rock but are different enough to make this a worthwhile venture. Yes, this is James Domestic at it again, as he is half of Tokyo Lungs and his distinctive vocals supplement the primal hardcore delivery of the duo. Feral State is new to me and the songs are slightly longer than those of the Lungs, aided by a raging d-beat sound with the standard gruff, throaty vocals. It’s a nasty and ferocious record, which I really like. –Rich Cocksedge (Kibou, [email protected], / Urinal Vinyl, [email protected], / Toxic Wotsit, / No Time, / Mass Prod,
