TODAY IS TOMORROW: Second Guest: CD

Sep 22, 2022

Some serious early-’00s emo and indie rock vibes on this disc. I’d imagine the number of Vagrant and Jade Tree releases in the collective record collections of the band members is quite vast. I’m a big fan of this style when done well and this band is certainly above average in terms of songwriting, lyrics, vocals, and melody. If you simply cannot get enough of the post-Braid, Get Up Kids, and Promise Ring era, you could do a lot worse than this. –Mike Frame (Self-released, today-is-tomorrow.bandcamp.com)
