TIRED RADIO: Patterns: CD/LP

This is the debut for Brooklyn’s Tired Radio and they’re all about the Small Brown Bike and Casket Lottery sound. I’m a sucker for that melodic emo punk music and Tired Radio doesn’t disappoint. Lead singer Anthony Truzzolino’s lyrics focus on broken relationships, feeling like shit, and self-medicating. I found I could relate all too much to the lyrics even though it kind of feels like another life ago at this point. This is a really strong first album that has great production and catchy songs. It’s a great summer or fall album as a number of these songs are rockin’ bangers and the slower tunes hit like watching the seasons change. –Kurt Morris (tiredradio.bandcamp.com)
