This is some sugary pop punk alright. I think I got diabetes within the first couple of songs. Truth be told, I like this style and Tightwire does it well. I’m thinking of The Lillingtons or Teen Idols right off the bat. It’s well played and well recorded. This would have been in high rotation for me twenty years ago, but now I’ll settle on it being something nice to have on in the background.
