Another great record from Deranged, and like much of their high-quality output, it’s unpredictably great. The cover doesn’t betray the sound and the initial impression doesn’t reveal the whole picture. A melding of a variety of the typical classic influences (plenty of the Spits/Ramones, a little Adolescents/D.I., a little Motörhead...) into something totally fucking fresh and compelling. As each year passes and another thousand punk records come out, it gets harder and harder to create something new to put out into the world that isn’t derivative, rehashed, or perhaps worst of all, boring.
