Giant outdoor festivals usually aren’t for me. Having to brave a crowd to stand thousands of feet away from a band does not sound like a fun time. When the 2023 Bumbershoot lineup dropped, I was immediately thrilled. Jawbreaker, Descendents, Radioactivity, Screaming Females, and Sleater-Kinney playing ten bus stops away from my apartment… I couldn’t resist.
