These Vegas punks already released a second LP, but this is the vinyl version of their first album from 2020. The generally mid-tempo tracks are oddly difficult to pigeonhole into one subgenre, although the vocals present a definite Reducers SF vibe. The lyrics touch on the relationship between the personal and the sociopolitical in a poignant, relatable way. It’s exciting watching Suburban Resistance expand across the underground. Who knows? Maybe they’ll have a third album out by the time this review runs. –Art Ettinger (IM,
