France’s four-piece hardcore punk band Stupid Karate’s second EP is short and fast. Their Limp Wrist influence comes through a bit on “The Devil Rides Out,” and the NBA Jam samples on “Embrace O-Goshi” are a nice touch. No disrespect, but I still prefer the original “Pet Sematary” over their cover, and though their aim for this EP was to be harder than their first, I feel like they could have taken it further. –Cynthia Pinedo (stupidkarate.bandcamp.com)
