Once again, the latest Artcore zine features a 7” and this time it’s one of its more obscure offerings. Although a band I was aware of, until I dropped this onto my turntable I’d never actually heard Stukas Over Bedrock. This is a remixed and remastered version of the original 1984 single featuring three extra tracks. It’s got a snotty, basic feel whilst occasionally reminding me a bit of Code Of Honor, a band not really in the same musical ballpark on the face of it. I was eighteen when this first came out and would have lapped it up readily. At fifty-six, it manages to get my juices flowing and has sent me to the internet to find what else is out there for me to pick up.
