Okay, let me just start out by saying I really don’t like ska. I don’t like it and I don’t understand it. But this ska/thrash band Stuck Lucky is great. Will I listen to them ever again? Probably not. But I also recognize that they’re talented musicians and very adept at the particular thing they do. Sure, you’ve got your ska staples like trombone and off-beat rhythm in there, but you’ve also got some serious musical precision and top-notch melodies.
