The Stonemen were one of those ’60s garage rock groups that were gone in a flash, releasing only one 45rpm single, a now mega-rare record of legendary proportions. This re-issue, or “authorized bootleg” as the liner notes say, is absolutely great early ’60s psychedelic-influenced garage with snarling leads and guitar tones that were years ahead of its time.
