STICK FARM: Reharvest: LP

Victoria BC crossover hardcore band Stick Farm gets the Supreme Echo treatment this time around. This band existed just prior to my arriving in this fair city nearly three decades ago, so while I knew the name, I wasn’t familiar with the tunes. While I use the term “crossover” here, Stick Farm is not a full-on metal band by any means. Sure, there are some screaming leads and metallic leanings but, overall, the sound fits more with a hardcore punk sound. The bass in particular has me feeling some Jesus Lizard vibes, which I really like. As is the norm with the archival releases on this label, there is a nice booklet with a new interview with band members, photos, and gig posters.
