This wonderfully fuzzy synthesizer-infused garage EP is yet another fine item from the London, Ontario label It’s Trash! Silicon Heartbeat is from Kalamazoo and they’re onto something classy with their own unique style that seemingly includes video game samples, along with other noises that somehow don’t get in the way of the melodies. Lo-fi wonderment awaits, and there’s not a single aspect of it that falls flat. One of the songs is a neat reimagining of a track originally recorded by San Diego’s Strange Visitors.
