Science Project picked the perfect name for their band. This EP sounds like a mad scientist went hard on a synth in their basement laboratory in between experiments, with a faint Oingo Boingo “Weird Science” vibe. The lyrics are a little indistinguishable, but I am okay with that. “Diary” harps on “pathetic social media,” and the entire album’s vocals are done in a robotic monotone, backed by punk drumbeats.
