The Schizophonics crank out ‘60s-style freakbeat garage punk that can throw any middling get-together into a frantic, frenetic mêlée of face-sucking ecstasy. I want you all to pick up this record, but I understand how it might not be for everyone, yetttt, I think it is absolutely imperative that everyone (seriously: all o’ ya!) sees this band live. It’s the most relentless live performance you will see this side of straight-edge teenage hardcore. This trio risks bodily harm to bring the world the power of rock’n’roll at its finest.
