Basement Punk is a one-man production of pop punk that inches up to being sweet and sentimental at times, often aligns itself with mall punk, but also has some nice hints of the Jam. There is technically nothing wrong with this record—it has all the requisite elements to be a solid punk rock offering, but the pieces just fit together way too neatly. It’s like a snap-together model car—it goes together too cleanly, too right, and it seems kinda wrong as a result. –The Lord Kveldulfr (Sygrecs)
