New stuff from veteran skate punker Ray Stevens II. If you are expecting to hear ‘80s-style Faction, you’ll only be a little disappointed. Although mostly buried, the sound is there. With guitar licks Jimmy Page would be proud of, amazing overall instrumentation, and weird, tripped-out vocals this record blew me away. Side A “The Best Is Yet to Come” is one smooth ride, while side B “UFLYPTODONME” (You Flipped Out On Me) is a stoner rock gem. A two song total tease.
