This Shanghai-based band are top-shelf purveyors of what would likely be described as freakout punk—spirited, aggressive delivery with tempos and rhythmic structures flaying to and fro, often within the same song, with horns, harmonica, doo wop, quasi-surf, and other bits of disparate stylistic snatches peppered throughout… and yet it all works seamlessly and is even downright catchy. I reckon the band name might cause some consternation, but musically they’ll appeal to folks that are partial to the Deadbeats, World/Inferno Friendship Society, Ex-Models, Phantom Limbs, and so on. –Jimmy Alvarado (Sudden Death, suddendeath.com)
