Slightly hokey but mostly charming minimal noir rock’n’roll, heavy on atmosphere. They’re in their own world (i.e. reworking Venom’s “Black Metal”) and that’s a plus. Could have easily played a weeknight at the Roadhouse in Twin Peaks: The Return. –Matt Werts (Voodoo Rhythm, voodoorhythm.com)
