RESISTENZ ‘32: Krisenzeiten: LP

Ten tracks of street punk from Leipzig, more specifically Connewitz, an area which had a strong punk presence during the days of East Germany and retains an alternative vibe to this day. Although the lyrics are in German, translating the song titles show that this quartet are definitely left leaning and of an anti-fascist persuasion. Those plus points are enhanced by the solid punk fare on offer on Krisenzeiten (Crisis Times in English) with well-paced punchy tunes and Vanessa’s slightly raspy vocals venomously spitting out the lyrics. This is really good and I’d love to see the band live. –Rich Cocksedge (Fire And Flames, [email protected], fireandflames.com / Riot Bike, [email protected], riotbikerecords.net)
