Brooklyn-via-Phoenix, Red Tank! bills themselves as a combo of post-punk, art punk, and garage rock and I think that’s pretty spot on. There are echoes of some real classic stuff like The Kinks with more direct and less poppy elements. There are even some anthemic singing opportunities and some more chill breakdowns that offer a more melodic take on the driving rhythms, but overall it works pretty well. Would recommend. –Theresa W.
