Razorcake Podcast #688 with Adel Souto

Cuban punk boots

For your listening pleasure, I submit to you, dear listener, a handful of tracks from my home country of Cuba. Many of these songs are ultra-rare, and were taken off illegally traded tapes, bootlegged throughout the years, due to the repressive dictatorship. Now that the Cuban government has relaxed a few of their censorship laws, the musical doorway’s been opened, and you can experience a once-secret scene currently thriving on that huge island just off the coast of Florida. Cuba libre, hermanos y hermanas!
