Razorcake Podcast #510 with Kurt Morris
I’m pretty happy with how this podcast came out in the sense of the range of bands included. There’s some great material from the late ‘70s and early ‘80s (D.O.A., Dead Kennedys, Discharge, The Damned) and some songs by bands that deserve more play in my rotation than they get (Dinosaur Jr., Drive Like Jehu, Dillinger Four). I also have some newer stuff by bands like Defeater, Dillinger Escape Plan, Descendents, and Dasher, the latter of which flew under the radar but put out an excellent full-length in 2017. Finally, I included a song by Darkest Hour that adequately reflects my religious views. So, all in all, a mix of music of which I’m pretty damn proud. I hope you dig it, too.
