Some oddball hardcore here. The tempos are frenetic, but they’ve left the guitars largely clean and instead put the fuzz on the bass, which gives the songs a markedly different texture overall. Add in some saxophone and you’ve got yourself a party soundtrack that’s sure to get kids weaned on a steady diet of Discharge rip-offs slamming in confused abandon. –Jimmy Alvarado (Radiation Risks, radiationrisks.bandcamp.com)
