The title does not mislead—a pair of lengthy demos from this Czech hardcore trio. Sound quality, considering the era, is pretty good. Nearly thirty quick hardcore blasts with a vocalist that sounds—at least on the ’86 demo—downright cartoonish. The ’89 demo is fuller, more severe sounding. I can’t imagine that being in a punk band, years before the Czech Republic was formed, was particularly easy, and things like this, from a historical record, are incredibly cool and important. Really heavy, beautiful packaging, with plenty of Czech liner notes. –Keith Rosson (PHR)
