Hardcore skate thrash that’s firing on all cylinders. Right from the opening blaster “Curbs & Coping,” you know these Bakersfield locals aren’t messing around. After first hearing them on Skate Ratz Vol. 1, I knew what I was getting into and prepared accordingly (basically took a bunch of Tylenol because my aging joints were going to hurt after hurling myself around my living room). Thirteen songs later, I had a concussion and a blown-out hip! The packaging here is great as well. A photo of a ripper launching an air over the band brings memories of Rob Roskopp throwing a huge Method Air above Bl’ast! in an old Santa Cruz ad. The photo is framed by Bobbydrawsskullz art, and the vinyl itself is so radioactive green I swear my hair was started to fall out just being close to it.
