This is a concept record about how a group of monkeys landed on the moon right before the planet earth blew up. Two of the monkeys are bald so they don’t look very happy. Oh wait—I forgot to flip the CD case over. In reality, this crew of Las Vegas dudes has been rocking since 2004. This record is their indie label debut. (They were on Atlantic and got dropped? Not sure about the facts here.) But this rocks with some reckless abandon. “Gated Community” and “Smells Like Surgery” are my favorite jams on this platter.
