Some phenomenal tunes courtesy of a short-lived band populated by folks who were in The Nails and Zolar X. Collected here are the tracks from their two late-’70s singles plus some choice previously unreleased tracks dancing gleefully between new wave, power pop, and space rock, with hints of Sparks, Kidda Band, L.A.-based groups like The Quick and The Beat, and maybe just a smidge of Byrds harmonies in places. Every single cut here is so absolutely choice and blessed with top-notch production that one can’t help but marvel that they didn’t end up stinkin’ rich. Fame is fickle and too often unfair, indeed.
