It’s difficult to gauge what Prunalogsusan (née Tim Tiplett) is doing with these strange, lo-fi, electronic lounge re-workings of Minor Threat’s first two seven inches. They’re not jokes and they’re not serious examinations. They just sort of happen. This might be the ideal way to cover something, and it works especially well on “Minor Threat” and most of the material from In My Eyes. Tiplett also includes his own songs—from another, unrelated EP—and it becomes clear he’s a genuine oddball.
