There’s always been a fine line between some styles of hardcore and metal. More of an “I know it when I hear it” sort of thing than a strict definition. This Czech band calls themselves hardcore/powerviolence but I know grindcore when I hear it. This has more in common with early Napalm Death or even Carcass records than with most hardcore/powerviolence bands I’ve heard.
