PITCH & BARK: Two EPs: CS

Sep 29, 2020

Spacey, post-punk by way of post-hardcore. If this was made in Washington, D.C. thirty years ago, this would have been a shoo-in for the Dischord catalog. Smarter than I am, but the intensity is just not enough for me. This is a band that favors minimalism, except when it comes to song length. This is streamlined and straightforward, except for the music itself which is angular and dreamy. It is alright. –Gwen Static (Snappy Little Numbers / Bernlore)
