PAINT FUMES: If It Ain’t Paint Fumes It Ain’t Worth a Hufff: CD

Nov 22, 2017

Don’t even bother trusting this review because I’m a sucker for garage-dwelling, fuzzy, blues punk and it takes quite a bit for me to hate even the most formulaic of the genre. The band’s name is appropriate—this sounds like everything paint fumes symbolize if anything ever could, not completely unfinished but raw and full of promise. Start with track four, “Mass Confusion,” and then take it from the top. –Nicole X (Get Hip)
