OXYGEN DESTROYER: November Brain: 10”

May 25, 2021

My first thought was that the lathe cut plexiglass material was causing the unusually dirty, distorted, lo-fi sounds emanating from my speakers. A quick bandcamp check rendered that thought absolutely incorrect. This is some down ’n’ dirty, lo-fi punk rock. If I’m honest, this sounds like a band practice that a passerby recorded from the hall outside the band’s room, on a boombox. I’m not sure that this needed to be committed to wax plastic, but the novelty and DIY aspect of the lathe-cut record is pretty cool nonetheless. –Chad Williams (Cat Food Money, catfoodmoney.blogspot.com)
