Goofy, grating, over-the-top synth madness, self-described as “danceviolence.” Imagine, if you will, The Faint bellowing an IWW pamphlet in between fevered bouts of huffing glue and button-mashing a Nintendo controller, and you have an idea of What Real Hate Is. Oddly beautiful cover design, and comes with a cut-and-paste fanzine full of collages and lyrics. Can imagine this was a blast to make, and beyond the goofiness there are some stridently political ideas here that lean hard left and come across as a breath of fresh air. –Keith Rosson (Musical Fanzine)
