Very cool skate zine with a minor in punk music. Tons of interviews and great photos with skaters, a culture I know zero about. Also includes interviews with Slashers, author Nancy Barile about her punk memoir I’m Not Holding Your Coat, and photographer Kevin Salk, who offers up some absolutely fantastic early photos of Minor Threat, the Misfits, Black Flag, and the Circle Jerks. Also includes a lengthy review section on print skate zines—I had no idea there were so many!—as well as comics and ads. A ton of care went into this, and folks into skating will be thrilled, I’m sure. I had a bit of difficulty reading some of the stuff, as the interior margins are too close to the binding and some of the words get cut off, but it’s still a beautiful, passionate effort. –Keith Rosson (102 Richmond Drive SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106)
